A Strategic Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Chinese Society of Education (CSE)and the Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM) on January 16th at the CCOM campus, with the aim of launching the program of Accreditation for Music Teacher in private non-degree education training institutions. The signing was witnessed and represented by You Sen, Deputy Secretary General of CSE, and Xiao Xuejun, Vice President of CCOM.
In his speech, You made a forecast of the prospects of the program, expounding and analyzing the existing contradictions and problems in private non-degree education. After briefly introducing the basic considerations of regulating and promoting the development of private education, he expressed full recognition and thanks for the great support of CCOM. Xiao stated that the strategic cooperation, complying with the trend of the times, responds to the country’s encouragement of nongovernmental sectors to run educational programs and to promote sound development of private education. College leaders attach great importance to this program and are willing to work together with CSE to contribute to the development of art education.
Xiu Zijian, Dean of the Modern Distance Music Education College, gave a detailed introduction to the work plans and basic considerations after the signing. Wu Haibo, Deputy Director of the Management Experimental Area Office of the Private Education Training Institutions of CSE, introduced the progress of related research and preparation for the work.
Representatives from both sides conducted extensive research and in-depth discussions on details concerning this strategic cooperation. Embarking on the new era and new journey, they agreed to explore new models and mechanisms for cooperation between the two sides. They wished to jointly contribute to the Chinese art education by complementing each other, enhancing innovation capabilities, and promoting sustainable development.
